Caitlin Wilson Love

I have been wanting to sprinkle the adorable pillows of Caitlin Wilson around for months, since the first time I saw them. All of the pillows are in such fun designs and colors, they could easily brighten up any living room, bedroom, baby room, or guest room!

Caitlin is originally from the San Francisco area and started her company in 2007. She has traveled extensively, from the Middle East to Asia, and that has been an inspiration in her designs. She designed her prints while living in Hong Kong. She has designed spaces all over the United States and overseas as well. She also runs a design and style blog that can be found here.

How fabulous are these?

I want them all.

Clare Vivier Love

Clare Vivier makes some seriously cute handbags. I would wear that pink clutch pretty much every time I went out. Her background is in France... she worked for French TV, spent a lot of time there, and has a French documentarian husband... so her style is all about chic simplicity (just my kind of girl).

She has even collaborated with Theory, Wren and Refinery 29. I love this off her site: She marries classic French glamour with minimalist Los Angeles cool to produce a line of handbags and clutches that are as chic as they are utilitarian.

Adorable envelope clutch called "La Pochette"

Such a classic work tote. White and gold get me every time.

Such pretty brown leather on the Sac Bretelle.

I LOVE THE CANVAS WEEKENDER!

So many awesome colors of the foldover clutch.

Denim Vest Love

I would not have wanted a denim vest until recently. They seem quite 80s but then, like magic, J.Crew made one and I totally want one now! It doesn't hurt that one of my fashionable friends wore a denim vest over a maxi dress to the movies last night and looked so cute!

Here is the J.Crew version for $98 that I adore:

I definitely think it has to be worn in to have the look I like. Nothing too stiff please or it will look like I'm going to the rodeo.

I really like the idea of wearing it over a button down:

The J.Crew Camp Popover in Stripe

Or over a dress:

or with a striped tee:

Saint James tee from J.Crew

Though I am partial to the J.Crew version, just like I am for every clothing item ever made, here are two other options:

Guest Post: Lily of It's Official

I want to introduce to my darling preppylove readers Lily of the blog It's Official. It's one of my favorite blogs ever and I'm so happy she is doing a guest post for us!

----

I'm so excited to be linking up with Kasey for a guest post today! I wanted to put together three foolproof summer outfit structures to share with y'all. The best part about these three structures is that whether you're on a boat or a bonfire, the idea behind these structures will work in just about every situation summer will throw at you!

1. Casual: The easiest of the three and the hardest to do wrong. Tee shirts go with jean shorts or chino shorts every single time. Then all you have to worry about is your shoes and jewelry (and you can never go wrong with Sperry's)!

2. Going Out: Dressing for a night out can be tricky. However, outfit aside, making sure you're comfortable is always number one. I try to pick dresses and skirts that are not particularly fussy, body hugging or have a crazy pattern. Instead, by wearing solid colors head-to-toe, you won't risk looking out of place and still manage to look killer.

3. Beach Life: My number one tip for summer swimsuits is to buy solids! I mix-n-match almost all of my swimsuits so that even though I only own a couple, I can rotate and cycle through a bunch of variations. I also love Roberta Roller Rabbit for tunics and totes!

Gigi New York Love

GiGi New York is everywhere right now. Every blog I open seems to have adorable images of the all-in-one clutch (pictured above in fuschia), the pearl all-in-one and all the other adorable wallets, clutches and bags in the collection!

It seems the all-in-one clutch really does fit everything and it can also be monogrammed (you know that is music to our ears here at preppylove)! Here is an example, taken from the blog Knight Moves:

Here are some other favorites:

Of course, pearl will always be a favorite.

I needed this a few weeks ago- I was looking for a nice passport cover for my trip!

I actually think this white all-in-one clutch is my favorite... it looks so classic and, if it were monogrammed, it would be perfect!!

And if you're looking for a present for him, there are some gorgeous things for guys too, like this luscious leather wallet:

Also, right now if you sign up for the GiGi New York email list, you will be entered to win a free handbag... they are giving away one a week the whole month! Sign up here!

Anchored Style Love

Two things I love: nautical style and fratty t-shirts. Anchored Style combines these two loves into one company! Anchored is a company for both men and women that offers timeless, classic pieces like polos, tees, and crew neck sweaters.

I really just want one of everything and, to me, that is the mark of a new favorite company.

Perfect to wear to class with chino or running shorts!

Whiskey flag long sleeved- I really prefer long sleeved tops since the library or classrooms can get cold!

Also absolutely perfect for the library!

Love this with riding boots for the fall!
